A look back and summary of our iQfoil Newbies, Youth & Juniors Camp in Cremia 2025. We enjoyed a perfect week with warm weather, sunshine, and ideal wind conditions. All of our newbies were able to fly after just a few days… We are now excited to welcome these newcomers to the iQfoil class.
Our U17 and U19 youth teams had an intense and educational week and are now gradually approaching the first highlight of the season: the IQfoil International Games in Torbole in early May.
The visit from our U23 Iqfoil team was another highlight for the young athletes. It was exciting and educational to see where the journey is headed and what the performance goals are. With Robin’s victory at the regatta over the weekend, ahead of Elia Colombo, we were able to provide initial proof that our youth development program can help our athletes compete with the world’s elite.
The camp was organized in collaboration with the CVLL. Many thanks to the sailing club, and especially to Matteo Benz. Many thanks also to our other two coaches, Fabio Fumagalli and Paul Sintic.
Participants included juniors from all over Switzerland, representing all language regions. As in previous years, we stayed and ate at Hotel Lumin, a place that warmly welcomes children and athletes. Grazie mille!
